Chris Burckhardt comes to Mercy Housing with more than 25 years of progressive business, consulting and change management experience and has proven himself to be a valuable resource in corporate strategic planning.
Burckhardt is responsible for Mercy Housing operations including Real Estate Development, Resident Service Delivery, Property Management, Asset Management, and Information Technology delivery. Mercy Housing owns and operates affordable housing in 19 states and currently provides housing for over 35,000 residents.
Before coming to Mercy Housing, Burckhardt was a Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer for Pulte Financial Services where he was responsible for corporate level planning and execution and enterprise technology platforms. He created an enterprise-wide system at Pulte Financial Services resulting in improved efficiency, accuracy and clarity in the mortgage application and approval process for Pulte customers. He was also responsible for planning, budgeting and management of strategy and technology programs with annual budgets of $15 to $20 million.
Prior to joining Pulte Financial Services Burckhardt was a Partner with Accenture in their Communications and High-Tech Practice. Burckhardt led CRM focused strategy and delivery efforts for a number of Fortune 500 clients.
Burckhardt has been a long time board member of Urban Peak, a non-profit organization in Denver providing services and a supportive community to homeless youth and youth at risk of becoming homeless. He holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration and graduated with High Distinction from Colorado State University.
