The HNHC is an autonomous and small, rural Housing Corporation of 391 units located in Ontario’s South Coast. In addition to owning and managing their own housing assets, the HNHC manages four other local non-profit housing corporations for a total of 544 units. During the past 15 years the Haldimand Norfolk Housing Corporation has implemented a number of I.T. initiatives across the five housing corporations, including building automation systems and property management, asset management and talent management software systems. The latest initiative is the implementation of a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software system (SalesForce©) which documents and e-manages information on over 100 (and growing) pre-populated matters or issues that may arise between the HNHC as the landlord and their tenants, including LTB/legal matters, social issues, social housing legislation issues, tenancy termination and general tenancy matters. The software program also provides the ability to set up future tasks for follow-up, diarize “log-a-call” information, and e-communicate with their clients.
