Darlene Cook has been the General Manager, CEO for Peterborough Housing Corporation (PHC) and its development subsidiary, Finally A Home, for the past eighteen years. PHC owns and manages 1166 units of social and affordable housing, over 300 rent supplement agreements with private landlords and manages the centralized wait list on behalf of the Service Manager. Darlene began her early career in Health Sciences, working both in the Public Health and College sectors for many years and has worked in housing for the past 24 years. Darlene is also the former executive Director for the Chartered Institute of Housing Canada , a Chartered Member of CIH and former Chair for the Provider Resource Group at SHSC as well as a past board member of ONPHA, serving on both the Executive and Governance Committee. She was awarded the Sybil Frenette Outstanding Leadership Award in 2017.
