Ilse van Winssen

Ilse van Winssen is a Research Principal at Davis Pier Consulting. Ilse has over a decade of experience leading research and housing initiatives within the public sector and non-profit settings. She has spearheaded large-scale projects focused on affordable housing, community land trusts, and most recently innovative financing. Before joining Davis Pier, Ilse held policy roles at the Nunavut Housing Corporation and at one of the Netherlands’ largest housing associations.

As a mixed methods applied researcher, Ilse is committed to deepening our understanding of how housing and better public places impact our communities. She holds a Master’s degree in Development Economics from Wageningen University & Research and a Master’s degree in Contemporary Asian Studies from the University of Amsterdam.
