Ryan Collins-Swartz

Ryan is dedicated to building inclusive financial systems that engage the transformative power of community.  As the Co-Executive Director of Tapestry, he supports organizations across Canada  to raise impact investment using an innovative tool called community bonds.. Tapestry has mobilized over $120 million in community bonds for renewable energy, affordable housing, arts & culture, and other social infrastructure.Tapestry was recently awarded as finalists of CMHC’s Housing Supply Challenge to grow their model in Canada’s affordable housing sector.  His professional journey has focused on the intersections between real estate, community economic development, and impact investing. He is a Board Member at Saintlo (formerly Hosteling International Canada), a co-founding member of the Palestine Impact Collective, and an advisor to several social purpose real estate initiatives. Ryan holds an HBA from the Ivey Business School & Rotterdam School of Management.
